William H. York
Tudor Lewis was founded by William H. York after spending nearly fifteen years in the corporate recruiting environment and four years working for large executive search firms.
Prior to launching Tudor Lewis, Mr. York was a Partner with TMP/Highland Partners Executive Search working in the Technology, Financial Services and Human Resources practices. Before that, Mr. York was the Senior Vice President, Staffing for Bank of America. In this role, he managed a large staffing team responsible for supporting technology, operations, finance, legal, risk, marketing and the office of the chairman. During his tenure at Bank of America, the bank successfully executed three major acquisitions and Mr. York’s responsibilities and role grew with each merger.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. York worked for Compaq Computer Corporation for over nine years in a variety of human resources roles. He spent five years as the staffing executive for North America. Mr. York was also responsible for the initial staffing efforts for the Latin America, Japan, Consumer, Government & Education, DirectPlus (Telephone), and Professional Services business units. During his time at Compaq, sales grew from $650 million to over $25 billion.
Searches will be led by a seasoned human resources executive with fifteen years of corporate experience in rapidly growing environments.
Extra attention will be given to fully understanding the client needs so that key competencies are identified, screened and tested so that candidates presented have more than just the required number of years of experience in the right places.
Tudor Lewis will manage the entire selection process from end to end and the firm will remain committed to the candidates’ success after they are hired and to the success of our clients.
Tudor Lewis is a retained executive search firm who works with clients on a national basis. Typical assignments are C-level assignments with a base compensation level over $150,000 annually. Tudor Lewis will also execute multiple hiring assignments on a retainer basis.
